Very rarely seen Schaller Rockoon superstrat, produced by Kawai. Fantastic MIJ build quality and top grade hardware and electronics, obvious inspiration with the concord headstock and sharkfin inlays. Contoured plate-less neck joint. The all-black finish with painted neck, and rocking SH layout with reverse slanted neck pickup give this guitar a super slick sharky elegance, a killer essential rock guitar. These were made only for a couple of years between mid and late 80’s.
Superb condition with just a few surface scratches on the back. Body is clean, polished and waxed, fretboard is clean and conditioned, frets are polished and show almost no wear. Brand new ESP toggle switch.
The guitar is strung with a fresh set of 9-42 Pyramid (you might have to stretch them a bit still, once you bring them back to tension). Depending on your favorite string gauge and action height, local climate, etc, you will have to fine tune the set up to your personal taste.
Trem arm and vintage vinyl gig bag are included.
