Limited edition Charvel travel guitar, with built-in amplifier and speaker.
Flick the switch to use it either as a battery powered amplified guitar, or as a regular guitar plugged into an amp. When you use the on board speaker, a red LED lights, and you can also pull the volume knob for integrated fuzz/distortion and feedback if all the way up! The push pull pot has no effect if used plugged into an amp. If you are in speaker mode AND plugged into an amp you will hear both sources.
Hardware is clean. Body is clean, polished and waxed, fretboard is clean and conditioned, frets are polished. There is no visual wear on the frets.
Scale is 24″/610mm, which is longer than a modern minion model. This neck feels and plays absolutely like a full size guitar, sounds very nice too. The black DK is shown for size reference and is of course not included 😀
This travel guitar has a few small scratches and touch-ups, nothing prominent. Fun guitar to have around on the couch, or the campfire, without worrying about putting a dent in it. There is a hairline crack in the neck pocket as per last photo, I assume it was caused by pressure of the neck in the pocket. It is glued and completely stabilized and solid.
The guitar is strung with a fresh set of 10-46 GHS Boomers (you might have to stretch them a bit still, once you bring them back to tension) . Depending on your favorite string gauge and action height, local climate, etc, you will have to fine tune the set up to your personal taste.
