Brand new and unused new old stock Gotoh Limited Edition tremolo.
The GE 1988T is most often seen in the traditional rectangular base plate version, very similar to the current 1996T, but there was an Aria Pro-branded variant with the rounded base plate, the Gotoh ART 2, which equipped some higher end Aria superstrat models in 1990.
This here is the original Gotoh-branded limited edition model, a true rarity of which there is almost no trace anywhere on the interwebs. I was very fortunate to acquire a few new old stock pieces in Japan a few years back.
Same renowned Gotoh quality as the contemporary 1996T. And it’s a beauty.
Bridge, arm, anchors and pivots, 42mm locking nut (screws from the back), nut shims, wrenches, retainer bar… you get the exact bridge from the photos, and all pictured parts.
